Director, Logistics

Delivery Hero is seeking a full-time Director, Logistics to lead strategic operational oversight and supply chain excellence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving logistics performance across our regional delivery network.

What This Role Involves

As Director of Logistics, you will own the vision and execution of our delivery operations, ensuring efficient, scalable, and cost-effective logistics that support our rapid expansion across Malaysia. You'll provide strategic direction to the logistics function whilst maintaining the service quality and reliability that customers expect.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics and operations team to meet performance targets and organisational goals
• Oversee complete logistics operations including warehouse management, fleet deployment, and delivery network planning
• Optimise delivery routes, warehouse workflows, and last-mile logistics to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators to measure logistics effectiveness and service quality
• Manage third-party logistics partners, vendors, and service providers to align with operational standards and objectives
• Lead process improvements and implement technology solutions to enhance visibility and operational intelligence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer experience, finance, and commercial departments
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards

Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior logistics, operations, or supply chain leadership roles, particularly in e-commerce, delivery, or fast-growth environments
• Proven expertise managing large, multifunctional teams in dynamic, competitive settings
• Deep knowledge of supply chain management, logistics networks, and delivery operations
• Demonstrated success driving cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives with measurable impact
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with competence in data-driven planning
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to influence across organisational hierarchies
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is beneficial
• Degree or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration
