Online Account Manager – Local Shops

Join Delivery Hero as an Online Account Manager in our Maadi office, where you'll drive growth by building and nurturing partnerships with local restaurants and independent shops. This is a contract role in our Sales team, focused on delivering exceptional support to merchants on our platform.

Role Overview

As an Online Account Manager – Local Shops, you'll be the primary point of contact for our independent merchant partners across the Maadi area. Your mission is to ensure they succeed on the Delivery Hero platform, from initial onboarding through ongoing account optimisation. You'll combine relationship-building, sales support, and operational problem-solving to help local restaurants and shops grow their online revenue and reach new customers.

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts, proactively reaching out to ensure partners are maximising the platform
• Onboard new independent restaurants and shops onto the Delivery Hero network
• Provide account support and troubleshooting for technical and operational issues
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase partner revenue
• Conduct training sessions and share best practices on menu optimisation and promotional strategies
• Monitor account performance metrics and report on key outcomes
• Work closely with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex partner needs

What You Bring

• Proven experience in account management, sales support, or merchant relationship roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with partners
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple accounts and deliver results under pressure
• Knowledge of the Egyptian food and retail sector is valuable
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Problem-solving mindset and a service-oriented approach
