Senior Compliance Officer – Global GRC team

Join Delivery Hero as a Senior Compliance Officer and lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives within our growing Global GRC team, based in Barcelona, Spain. In this full-time role, you'll shape how one of the world's largest food delivery platforms navigates regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions.

What This Role Involves

As Senior Compliance Officer within our Global GRC function, you'll develop and maintain the compliance frameworks that enable Delivery Hero to operate safely and lawfully across our international markets. Your work will span regulatory strategy, operational controls, and governance oversight—balancing growth ambitions with robust risk management in a fast-moving industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee compliance programmes addressing regulatory requirements across Delivery Hero's operating regions
• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory landscapes, assessing impact on business operations and recommending policy adaptations
• Collaborate with Legal, Operations, and business units to embed compliance into business processes and decision-making
• Lead risk assessments and control testing to identify gaps and drive remediation efforts
• Prepare governance reporting for senior leadership and boards on compliance status and emerging regulatory risks
• Support investigations and escalations involving potential breaches or regulatory concerns
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes across the organisation

Qualifications

• Significant experience in compliance, governance, risk management, or regulatory roles, ideally within highly regulated industries or multi-jurisdictional environments
• Strong knowledge of GRC frameworks, compliance controls, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate complex compliance concepts for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive compliance culture change
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• Fluency in English required; additional languages advantageous in an international organisation
