Director of Vendor Operations

Delivery Hero is seeking a Director of Vendor Operations to lead partnership strategy and operational excellence across our Riyadh base on a contract basis. In this leadership role, you'll shape vendor relationships, optimize delivery networks, and drive operational performance for one of the region's leading food delivery platforms.

What This Role Involves

You'll direct all vendor operations functions, from partner onboarding through performance management and relationship development. This hands-on leadership position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, requiring you to balance partner growth with operational rigor, vendor satisfaction with platform sustainability, and market expansion with cost efficiency. You'll own the vendor experience end-to-end while supporting Delivery Hero's growth trajectory across Saudi Arabia.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead vendor acquisition, onboarding, and lifecycle management to scale partner network in Riyadh and surrounding markets
• Establish and enforce service level agreements, operational standards, and vendor quality benchmarks
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and implement improvement initiatives to drive consistency and reliability
• Manage vendor communications, escalations, and dispute resolution to maintain strong partner relationships
• Coordinate across operations, finance, and technology teams to eliminate process bottlenecks and improve vendor experience
• Develop vendor retention and incentive strategies to support long-term partnership success
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for system-wide improvement

Requirements

• Extensive experience in vendor operations, supply chain management, or marketplace operations leadership
• Track record managing vendor relationships in food delivery, logistics, or similar high-velocity environments
• Strong analytical ability and comfort with data-driven decision-making
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in complex, dynamic settings
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple audiences
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills highly valued
• Understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory framework and local business customs
