Recruitment Coordinator

Join Givedirectly as a Recruitment Coordinator and help build a talented team driving impact in Nairobi. This full-time position is based on-site in Nairobi, Nairobi County.

Role Overview

As Recruitment Coordinator, you'll support our recruitment operations by managing candidate pipelines, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. You'll work alongside hiring managers to fill critical roles across our organization, connecting passionate professionals with opportunities to contribute to our mission of direct cash transfer programs in East Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates who align with role requirements
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and assessment teams
• Prepare interview materials, coordinate assessments, and collect feedback from interviewers
• Maintain accurate candidate records in our applicant tracking system
• Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process and communicate employment decisions
• Prepare offer documentation and coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires
• Track recruitment metrics and report on open roles, time-to-hire, and hiring pipeline status

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience in recruitment, HR operations, or talent acquisition coordination
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication with professionalism in all candidate interactions
• Detail-oriented approach to candidate management and record-keeping
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar recruitment tools
• Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and cross-functional teams
