About the Role
We're seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Residential HVAC Service Technician to deliver top-tier installation, maintenance, and repair services to homeowners across Essex County and beyond. This is a full-time position where you'll become the trusted face of Sila Services, solving complex HVAC challenges and building lasting customer relationships through professional, reliable workmanship.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems with precision and care
- Perform installations of new HVAC equipment in homes and residential properties
- Troubleshoot system failures, electrical components, and refrigeration issues
- Conduct routine maintenance visits to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
- Explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers in clear, jargon-free language
- Maintain service trucks and tools in excellent working order
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes
- Document all work performed and maintain detailed service records
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or equivalent technical background
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical capability to lift equipment, work in varied environments, and perform hands-on tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
