People Trainee (6 months)

Position Summary

As a People Trainee, you will work alongside experienced HR professionals to deliver essential people-related functions across the organisation. This fixed-term contract is ideal for those seeking to develop practical skills in human resources, employee relations, and talent management within an internationally recognised company. You will support multiple HR initiatives whilst gaining exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to engagement and development.

Core Duties

• Assist with recruitment processes, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding documentation
• Support employee relations activities, including processing leave requests and maintaining personnel records
• Help coordinate training and development programmes for employees at various levels
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration, including data entry and verification
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
• Maintain HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support HR policy implementation and compliance-related tasks

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR management systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Interest in human resources and employee development
