Senior Operations Project Manager

Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Operations Project Manager to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan on a contract basis. This is a remote position where you'll drive operational excellence and deliver complex projects across our dynamic logistics and food delivery platform.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Operations Project Manager at Delivery Hero, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance our operational capabilities and customer experience. This contract role offers the chance to directly influence how we manage logistics, supply chain coordination, and service delivery across the region. You'll work with diverse teams, oversee project timelines, and ensure we achieve strategic objectives while maintaining our high operational standards.

What You'll Do

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, from planning and resource allocation through execution and closure
• Coordinate across operations, logistics, and product teams to align project goals with business strategy
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep deliverables on track
• Develop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders
• Optimize operational processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead meetings with internal and external partners to ensure clear communication and accountability
• Analyze operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, project management, or related roles
• Proven track record delivering complex projects in logistics, e-commerce, or similar fast-paced environments
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Comfortable working in a remote environment and collaborating across distributed teams
