Quality Engineer III

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer III to join our India-based team and drive quality excellence across our comprehensive engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations serving the world's leading brands.

Position Summary

As a Quality Engineer III at Jabil, you'll take a leadership role in shaping quality strategies and outcomes for complex manufacturing and engineering projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to influence product reliability, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction at scale. You'll work with cross-functional teams to establish quality systems, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with international standards and customer requirements across our India operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee comprehensive quality testing plans and protocols for manufacturing processes and engineered components
• Lead defect identification, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation with manufacturing and engineering teams
• Monitor quality metrics, performance indicators, and compliance data to drive continuous improvement
• Design and validate quality assurance processes aligned with industry standards and customer specifications
• Collaborate with product engineers, supply chain partners, and operational teams to resolve quality issues and optimise production
• Document quality procedures, audit findings, and process documentation to ensure organisational learning and traceability
• Support capability building and training initiatives within the quality function

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality assurance experience in manufacturing or electronics environments
• Demonstrated expertise with quality methodologies (Six Sigma, lean, ISO 9001, or equivalent frameworks)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in quality tools and statistical analysis
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and leading quality initiatives from conception to implementation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present quality data and insights to stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, process controls, and testing protocols
