Join Delivery Hero as a full-time Accountant, based remotely and supporting our Belgrade, RS finance operations. We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to deliver accurate financial records and contribute to our Finance department's ongoing success.

What This Role Involves

As an Accountant with Delivery Hero in Belgrade, you'll own key accounting responsibilities that keep our financial operations running smoothly. Working remotely, you'll manage transactions, reconciliations, and reporting whilst maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy. You'll collaborate with finance leadership and other departments to ensure transparent, compliant financial management across our organisation.

Core Duties

• Process financial transactions, invoices, and expenses with precision and meticulous record-keeping
• Reconcile ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain data integrity
• Prepare journal entries, supporting documentation, and account schedules for review
• Execute bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly
• Support month-end and year-end close activities including financial statement compilation
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within your scope
• Assist external auditors with requests and provide comprehensive documentation
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting controls and streamline processes

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, commerce, or related discipline (completed or in progress)
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices in a professional environment
• Proficiency with accounting software platforms and advanced spreadsheet skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent numerical accuracy and analytical attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with Serbian and European accounting or tax standards preferred
