Account Manager SMB Italy

Join Delivery Hero as an Account Manager for Small-to-Medium Businesses (SMB) in Milano, Italy. In this full-time remote role, you'll build and nurture relationships with our key SMB restaurant and merchant partners, driving revenue growth and customer success across the region.

About the Role

As an Account Manager SMB for Delivery Hero, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of small-to-medium-sized merchants and restaurant partners in Italy. You'll focus on account expansion, customer retention, and ensuring our partners succeed on our platform. This is a strategic, relationship-driven position that combines business development with customer advocacy—ideal for someone who enjoys building lasting professional partnerships and driving commercial outcomes remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned SMB merchant accounts
• Drive revenue growth through upselling, expansion of services, and optimisation of partner performance
• Conduct regular account reviews and performance analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Onboard new SMB partners and ensure smooth integration onto the Delivery Hero platform
• Provide proactive support and address partner concerns to maximise retention and satisfaction
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to resolve issues and implement solutions
• Track key metrics and report on account health, revenue pipeline, and activity against targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar sales-focused customer-facing role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; comfort with remote relationship-building and virtual collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and follow-through
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify upsell opportunities and drive revenue growth
• Familiarity with food delivery, hospitality, or e-commerce sectors is a plus
• Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written)
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
