About the Role
We're seeking an Operations Analyst Specialist with strong expertise in logistics optimisation to strengthen our Strategy/Planning function. You'll examine operational workflows, logistics networks, and resource allocation patterns to identify inefficiencies and design targeted improvements. Your analytical insights will inform strategic decisions that reduce costs, improve delivery performance, and enhance customer satisfaction across our Barcelona-based operations and beyond.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyse operational metrics and logistics performance data to identify optimisation opportunities
- Build and refine quantitative models for route planning, fleet allocation, and delivery scheduling
- Partner with operations and technology teams to test, validate, and deploy efficiency solutions
- Monitor KPIs and produce insights reports that feed strategic planning and decision-making
- Investigate process bottlenecks and recommend data-backed interventions
- Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and methodologies for potential adoption
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in operations analysis, supply chain management, or logistics optimisation
- Proficiency with data analysis tools, statistical methods, and SQL or equivalent query languages
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Working knowledge of logistics, transportation networks, and operational efficiency
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to diverse audiences
- Fluent English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous
