Role Overview
As a Business Analyst focused on logistics strategy and rider incentives, you'll translate complex operational challenges into actionable insights. You'll work at the intersection of supply-side economics and logistics efficiency, helping Delivery Hero refine how we compensate, engage, and retain our rider network whilst improving delivery speed and reliability across Barcelona and beyond. This position combines analytical rigour with strategic thinking—you'll influence how we approach incentive structures, delivery routing optimisation, and operational cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse logistics and rider performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and evaluate incentive models and compensation strategies that balance rider satisfaction, delivery quality, and business profitability
- Support the design and testing of new operational initiatives through scenario modelling and impact forecasting
- Collaborate with operations, supply-side, and finance teams to translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes
- Monitor key performance indicators and produce regular reports that inform senior management decisions
- Conduct root-cause analysis on logistics challenges and propose data-backed solutions
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar data tools
- Experience in business analysis, logistics, operations, or supply-chain related roles
- Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Familiarity with logistics, delivery operations, or gig economy platforms is advantageous
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are beneficial
