Delivery Hero is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel specializing in Antitrust & Competition law to join our Legal team in Singapore. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive competition law strategy across a leading global food delivery platform.

About the Role

As Senior Legal Counsel for Antitrust & Competition, you will be the primary legal authority guiding Delivery Hero through complex competition law landscapes across our key markets. You'll navigate evolving regulatory frameworks, advise on competitive practices, and ensure compliance with antitrust laws governing our marketplace operations. This role requires deep expertise in competition law combined with pragmatic business judgment and the ability to influence senior leadership on regulatory risk.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic legal advice on competition law matters, including merger clearance, market concentration, and competitive conduct across jurisdictions
• Lead compliance assessments and risk mitigation strategies related to antitrust regulations and competition enforcement
• Manage relationships with competition authorities and regulators; represent the company in investigations and regulatory proceedings
• Advise on platform policies, commercial agreements, and business practices to ensure alignment with competition law principles
• Collaborate across business, policy, and international legal teams to embed competition law considerations into strategy and operations
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments; provide horizon scanning and counsel on emerging competition law issues

What You Bring

• Significant experience in competition law, ideally gained in a leading law firm, in-house legal role, or government competition authority
• Demonstrated expertise in merger review, regulatory investigations, and competition compliance
• Strong understanding of competition law in key Asian markets and cross-border regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills; ability to distil complex legal issues for business audiences
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage ambiguity and competing stakeholder interests
• Professional qualification in law; admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
