Paralegal Pre-Closer

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Pre-Closer to support our real estate legal practice in Goose Creek, Berkeley County. In this full-time role, you'll ensure every transaction moves efficiently through closing by managing critical pre-closing documentation, coordinating with title companies and lenders, and verifying compliance requirements—helping our clients achieve successful real estate transactions.

About the Role

As a Paralegal Pre-Closer, you'll be the backbone of our transaction management process. Your responsibilities will include preparing closing documents, reviewing title reports, organizing file materials, communicating with all parties to the transaction, and flagging issues before they become problems. You'll work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure nothing falls through the cracks as we approach closing day.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and organize closing documents, including deed reviews, HUD statements, and loan documents
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and real estate agents to collect required documentation
• Review title commitments and work to resolve any title issues that could delay closing
• Maintain detailed transaction files and checklists to track all pre-closing milestones
• Verify property information, ownership records, and legal descriptions for accuracy
• Communicate proactively with clients and external parties to confirm all closing requirements are met
• Flag compliance issues and ensure adherence to state and federal real estate closing requirements

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or comparable administrative role in real estate, title, or lending
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Detail-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with real estate transactions, title documents, or closing procedures
• Proficiency with document management systems and standard office software
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a deadline-driven environment
