Accounting Manager

Wearemeru is hiring a full-time Accounting Manager for our Atlanta office. You'll lead accounting operations and financial oversight for our clients while advancing your career within a partnership-driven advisory and analytics firm.

What This Role Involves

As an Accounting Manager at Wearemeru, you'll manage financial and accounting functions across our client engagements—supporting middle-market companies, private equity firms, and financial institutions in Atlanta and beyond. You'll combine strong accounting fundamentals with analytical capabilities to strengthen client financial operations and support our advisory work. Your expertise will be central to our ability to deliver insights and solutions on turnarounds, interim management, and financial analytics projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct accounting operations, including general ledger management and monthly close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and accounting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Execute account reconciliations and maintain detailed accounting records
• Conduct financial analysis and develop reporting to support client decision-making
• Oversee internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Partner with advisory colleagues on financial due diligence and complex analytical engagements
• Mentor team members and contribute to the development of junior accounting staff

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of accounting management, operations, or controllership experience
• Solid foundation in financial accounting, GAAP, and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
• CPA certification or CPA candidacy strongly preferred
