Maintenance Supervisor

Charcuterie seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations and ensure peak performance at our Mapleville, RI facility. This is a full-time role managing maintenance teams, equipment upkeep, and compliance during Monday–Friday afternoons with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

The Opportunity

Take command of maintenance operations for a dynamic food production environment. You'll oversee a skilled maintenance team, coordinate critical equipment care alongside production schedules, and safeguard both our workforce and our output through proactive planning and attentive leadership. This position directly influences facility efficiency, safety culture, and operational continuity—making you essential to our success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and schedule maintenance personnel across your shift
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime
• Respond promptly to mechanical and operational issues affecting production
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to optimize workflow
• Inspect equipment, facilities, and systems for safety and USDA compliance
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards

What You Bring

• Hands-on maintenance experience in food production or related industrial settings
• Proven supervisory or team-lead experience
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems
• Understanding of USDA compliance and food-safety requirements
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to accident prevention
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
