About the Role
As the UR Home Healthcare Advancement Director, you will shape and drive the philanthropic strategy that supports home healthcare programs at the University of Rochester. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute an advancement strategy that grows philanthropic support for UR home healthcare initiatives.

- Manage a portfolio of major-gift prospects and move relationships toward meaningful commitments.
- Partner with clinical, program, and leadership teams to translate funding needs into compelling cases for support.

- Track pipeline progress, report on outcomes, and ensure accurate gift records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising, development, or advancement, ideally within healthcare, higher education, or a mission-driven organization.
- Demonstrated success cultivating donor relationships and securing significant gifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell a persuasive story.
- Sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Willingness and ability to work full-time, on-site in Rochester, Monroe County (this role is not remote).
