What This Role Involves

The Staff Accountant position is central to Jobot's accounting and finance operations. You'll maintain financial records, process transactions, and support the broader accounting team in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Record, verify, and post accounting transactions to the general ledger
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support audits and internal controls reviews as needed
• Collaborate with accounting team members on special projects and analysis
• Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working as an accountant or in accounting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
