About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential industrial technology client seeking a Condition Monitoring Engineer based in Mexico. This role is central to delivering high-quality predictive maintenance insights for manufacturing clients worldwide. You will analyze vibration and temperature data, customize monitoring solutions, and work closely with installation teams and reliability engineers to prevent equipment failures before they occur.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client manufacturing sites, customizing data processing to each asset's specific requirements and determining maintenance needs
  • Perform comprehensive vibration data collection, analysis, software modeling, programming, and engineering evaluations
  • Evaluate machinery health and condition through detailed vibration data analysis
  • Develop software models and programs to maintain and expand the vibration data analysis library, improving data processing capabilities
  • Provide high-quality, actionable information to clients, including setting appropriate alarm levels to alert customers of pending failures
  • Accompany hardware installation teams and recommend optimal placement of machine condition sensing units
  • Lead and grow the predictive maintenance (PdM) tool development program
  • Expand monitoring expertise beyond vibration analysis to include ultrasonic analysis and oil/fluid analysis
  • Collaborate with product development teams to create high-value hardware and software solutions

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience with vibration data collection and analysis, ideally using FFT analyzers and predictive/preventative maintenance software
  • Valid ISO Category II or higher vibration certification preferred; continued certification expected
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals, including AC induction and DC motors
  • Strong mechanical background with industrial equipment: centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Proficient with operating analyzers measuring vibration spectra and time waveforms
  • Proficient in developing optimum corrective actions based on field vibration analysis data, observations, and discussions with plant personnel
  • Ability to work on and around elevated fixed and rotating equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard PC applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Startup mentality: collaborative, resourceful, willing to wear many hats and resolve obstacles

  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
