Senior Full-Stack Developer (m/w/d) – TypeScript / Next.js

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in Berlin that is building an ambitious B2B product currently in stealth mode. The technical foundation is established, core features are live, and they're entering the most exciting phase: transforming a strong base into a market-ready, scalable product.

Our client seeks a Senior Full-Stack Developer who takes ownership beyond just executing requirements. You'll work directly with leadership, significantly influence both product and architecture, and shepherd features from initial concept through production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the existing B2B SaaS platform across frontend and backend
• Design and implement new features from data structure through user interface
• Build complex, interactive web interfaces
• Develop and integrate AI-powered functions and workflows
• Design and connect external APIs and services
• Evolve data models and backend architecture
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and clean architecture
• Improve performance, UX, security, and scalability
• Provide technical assessment of new product ideas and independently develop solution proposals
• Actively shape future product and technology roadmap

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience developing modern web applications or SaaS products
• Strong proficiency in modern software development—ideally TypeScript, React, and Next.js—plus ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks
• Solid experience with APIs, data models, and modern authentication/authorization concepts
• Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, performance, and security
• Experience with modern deployment and CI/CD processes
• Ability to quickly dive into an existing codebase and take ownership
• Strong product sense: you think about why something should be built, not just how
• High quality standards combined with pragmatism and speed
• AI-assisted development is second nature to you in modern software engineering

Technical Environment: Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Prisma, tRPC, Zod, Tailwind CSS, Vercel, plus extensive use of AI-powered development tools and AI features within products. The stack is not dogmatic—strong technical arguments matter more than tradition.
