Solutions Architect – Search Specialist

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software client seeking a Solutions Architect specializing in search technologies. In this role, you will:

• Design and implement cutting-edge search solutions utilizing AI, semantic search, and vector search technologies, including RAG and vector databases
• Enable organizations to achieve exceptional accuracy and efficiency in their search queries and data retrieval processes through advanced learned sparse encoding techniques
• Implement powerful vector search algorithms and create high-dimensional vector representations of data to improve search relevance even with imprecise queries
• Deliver compelling proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate the value of AI-powered search solutions for improved user experience and decision-making
• Share expertise through presentations, blog posts, and other channels to establish thought leadership in AI-powered search
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to drive continuous improvement
• Stay current with evolving AI, semantic search, and vector search technologies to ensure solutions remain at the forefront of innovation

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise-level search solutions
• Deep understanding of AI and semantic search technologies, with focus on RAG, vector search, and NLP
• Familiarity with emerging ecosystem technologies such as Hugging Face, Langchain, and similar frameworks
• Knowledge of learned sparse encoding architectures and models within the broader AI ecosystem
• Experience with vector databases and emerging data storage solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage technical and non-technical audiences from developers to executives
• Collaborative mindset with passion for knowledge sharing
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of technology trends
• Fluency in Spanish is an advantage
