Solution Architect QA (Center of Excellence)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise technology organization seeking a Solution Architect to lead and design their QA Testing and Automation framework within a global Center of Excellence. This role will be instrumental in delivering advanced QA strategies, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and driving testing efficiency across multiple business domains.

You will develop and implement QA strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on AI/ML-driven enhancements, automation, and performance optimization. Leading the QA CoE, you'll establish adherence to industry best practices while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

A key focus will be driving AI/ML adoption to optimize test execution, predict failure points, and provide actionable analytics. You'll implement predictive analytics to prioritize testing efforts and introduce AI-powered self-healing test automation frameworks.

You will architect comprehensive test automation frameworks leveraging modern tools and design scalable, reusable automation scripts incorporating AI-driven test generation and defect prediction. Ensuring seamless integration of QA processes within CI/CD pipelines will be critical.

Overseeing delivery of functional, regression, performance, compatibility, accessibility, and security testing services across diverse applications, you'll lead performance testing initiatives and enhance test data management processes.

You'll define and monitor KPIs including cost per story point, automation coverage, defect leakage rate, and cycle time reduction, while providing executive-level insights through analytics-driven dashboards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align QA efforts with business objectives and establishing governance frameworks for defect management will round out your responsibilities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in QA and test automation, with at least 5 years in a solution architect or leadership role
• Expertise in QA tools and frameworks including Selenium, Tosca, LoadRunner, JMeter, Azure DevOps, and TestRail
• Proven experience with AI/ML applications in QA, including tools like Healenium, GitHub Copilot, and ReportPortal.io
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Strong knowledge of performance testing, test data management, and cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure)
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with large-scale enterprise environments and global testing initiatives preferred
• Familiarity with testing AI/ML applications, LLM model validation, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus
• Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and manage offshore/onsite collaboration
• Certification in QA methodologies, Agile/SAFe, or relevant domains preferred
