We are representing a confidential higher education institution seeking a Full-Time Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis with Technology-Assisted Focus to join their academic team. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Professor, you will:

• Teaching and Instruction: Deliver high-quality online courses, maintain strong engagement with learners, use course data to improve teaching performance, and consistently exceed expectations for instructional excellence
• Doctoral Mentoring: Chair and serve on doctoral committees, guide learners through dissertation and capstone processes, facilitate interactive course-rooms, and support students to timely completion
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design, develop, and continuously improve courses, assessments, and competency-based materials while ensuring diversity and inclusiveness
• Governance and Leadership: Participate actively in school and university committees, serve as a peer mentor, contribute to departmental leadership, and take on specialized assignments as needed
• Professional Service: Maintain active involvement in professional networks, represent the institution in your community, and contribute expertise through pro bono or reduced-fee activities
• Research and Scholarship: Stay current in your field through conference presentations, scholarly writing, professional development, and maintaining an active research agenda

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution (must be conferred)
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required; BCBA-D strongly preferred
• Experience teaching in higher education
• Experience mentoring doctoral students
• Experience writing curriculum
• Scholarly writing experience and proficiency with APA format
• Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)

Highly Preferred:

• Three or more years teaching in an online setting
• Membership in educational leadership or behavior analysis organizations at national, regional, or local levels
• Experience presenting at professional conferences
• Demonstrated commitment to service and practice in applied behavior analysis
• Evidence of supporting learner success and quality teaching outcomes
• Experience with leadership and team engagement
• Ability to contribute to diversity, cultural sensitivity, and academic excellence

Pay

The client institution offers a salary range of $75,800 to $113,700 annually, with $90,000 as the expected starting pay based on current budgetary guidelines. Actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and internal pay equity considerations.
