Graduate Teamleiter Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Graduate Team Leader for their last-mile distribution operations in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg. In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Recruit, onboard, and coach drivers and logistics staff to ensure operational excellence. Plan team-building activities to strengthen collaboration.
• Manage shift operations: Create schedules, oversee staff training and development, and ensure smooth daily operations at the distribution hub.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries: Take responsibility for receiving goods shipments, verify accuracy, and organize urgent replenishments when needed to maintain inventory flow.
• Drive process optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) continuously, maintain safety-first standards, and keep operations running efficiently.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success teams, central warehouse operations, and other distribution sites to deliver excellent service.
• Ensure on-time departures: Coordinate driver schedules to guarantee punctual deliveries within promised time windows.
• Contribute strategic ideas: From coordinating vehicle maintenance to designing hub layouts and supporting recruitment efforts, your input will help scale operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or related fields
• Initial team leadership experience, whether professional or through coaching other teams
• Fluent German and good English communication skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication abilities and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach using metrics and facts
