About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential insurance organization seeking an experienced life insurance professional to build and grow an independent practice in Florida. This is an independent contractor opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to leverage established brand recognition and robust support systems to scale their existing life insurance business.

As a life insurance specialist, you'll partner with local agency owners to expand your client base while maintaining the flexibility and autonomy of running your own practice. You'll receive ongoing support including product access, professional development, lead generation assistance, and industry-leading technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own life insurance practice within your local Florida community
• Conduct face-to-face customer consultations to assess life insurance needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Partner with local agency owners to generate referrals and develop new business opportunities
• Leverage provided leads from online and partnership sources to grow your client base
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers through ongoing service and policy reviews
• Utilize company-provided technology platforms to streamline operations and enhance customer experience
• Participate in continued education programs to stay current on products and industry best practices

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of customer-facing life insurance sales experience
• Active Florida State Life and Health Insurance Licenses (required)
• Proven track record in life protection product sales
• Prior experience as a Life Insurance Agent, Insurance Representative, or similar sales role preferred
• Professional designations such as CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) or LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree with business emphasis preferred
• Strong entrepreneurial drive with demonstrated ability to build and sustain a business
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as a contractor
