Responsibilities
Our talent team is representing a confidential federal-sector organization seeking an SAP Project System Architect/SME for a remote engagement. In this role, you will:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP Project Systems (PS) solutions tailored to complex business and project requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP technical solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise across SAP PS modules, including WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), project budgeting, costing, and forecasting
- Develop comprehensive project documentation including technical specifications, workflows, and user manuals
- Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules
- Lead or support end-to-end SAP PS implementation and upgrade initiatives
- Train and mentor team members and end-users on SAP PS functionalities
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- 10-20 years of hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS)
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing SAP PS solutions in complex environments
- In-depth knowledge of WBS, networks, cost structures, resource planning, and project analytics
- Proven track record of end-to-end SAP implementations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- US Citizenship required due to project requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Active Security Clearance highly preferred
- Prior experience working on government or defense projects
- Familiarity with SAP integration to FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM modules
- SAP certifications in Project Systems or related modules
Location: Remote (United States)
Duration: 9-12 months with possible extensions
