Wabtec is seeking an experienced Cell Manager to join our team in Lincoln, KC, GB. This is a full-time position where you'll lead operations and drive excellence within your production area.
What This Role Involves
As a Cell Manager at Wabtec, you'll take ownership of a production cell, leading a dedicated team to deliver quality products on schedule. You'll balance safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement whilst maintaining the highest operational standards.
Core Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the production cell, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are maintained
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor inventory, materials, and resources to optimise cell performance and reduce waste
- Implement process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and meet customer demands
- Track performance metrics and report on cell KPIs
