Role Overview

The LEAD Finance Rotational Program at Wabtec offers early-career professionals a structured path through multiple finance functions, building breadth of experience and leadership capabilities. You'll rotate through different areas of finance, gaining practical knowledge in how global industrial operations are managed, measured, and optimized. This program accelerates your development while contributing meaningfully to Wabtec's financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 2–3 finance departments (such as financial planning & analysis, accounting, internal audit, or controllership) over the program duration
• Support the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and forecasts under guidance of senior finance team members
• Participate in financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes
• Conduct financial and operational analysis to support business decision-making
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities within finance functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Wabtec's business units to understand operations and financial drivers
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to different finance environments
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
