Position Summary
As Senior Software Engineer for Partner Onboarding in our Quick Commerce business, you'll own the technical strategy and implementation of systems that enable seamless integration of non-integrated merchants and fulfillment partners. You'll work at scale, designing resilient, maintainable infrastructure that reduces time-to-market for new partners whilst maintaining platform stability and security. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, requiring both deep technical expertise and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust onboarding APIs and services that enable partners to integrate with our Quick Commerce platform
- Build automated validation and testing frameworks that ensure partner integrations meet quality standards before going live
- Collaborate with product, operations, and partner management teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Review code from junior and mid-level engineers, mentor team members, and establish best practices for the onboarding system
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously optimise for reliability and speed
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and integration guides for partner teams
What You Bring
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years in senior or lead roles
- Strong proficiency in backend development and APIs; experience with microservices architecture is a plus
- Proven track record designing and shipping integration platforms or similar complex systems
- Solid grasp of database design, distributed systems, and handling high-throughput scenarios
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team culture and technical standards
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working across product, business, and technical teams
- Fluency in English; Spanish is beneficial
