Custodian – Covenant House

The Millennia Companies is hiring a full-time Custodian for Covenant House in Toledo, Lucas County, to maintain our residential community's spaces and create clean, welcoming environments.

What This Role Involves

As a Custodian at Covenant House in Toledo, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our property and grounds. You'll manage cleaning and maintenance across multiple areas—from shared spaces to individual units—while ensuring the property stays neat, organized, and safe. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll handle both routine and seasonal tasks to keep our community looking its best.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas and common spaces throughout the property
• Care for exterior grounds and maintain the property's curb appeal
• Prepare and maintain vacant and model units to standards
• Perform floor care and general interior cleaning tasks
• Manage trash removal and waste disposal according to schedules
• Remove litter and clean sidewalks and walkways
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal maintenance as needed
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with additional cleaning and upkeep duties

Requirements

• Physical ability to perform custodial duties including lifting, bending, and outdoor work
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Willingness to learn and adapt to property-specific procedures
