Technician I – Facilities, Maintenance

Catalent is hiring a Technician I - Facilities and Maintenance professional to join our team in Madison, WI. This full-time position is essential to keeping our facility operations running smoothly and safely every day.

What This Role Involves

As a Technician I - Facilities and Maintenance team member, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the systems and equipment that keep our Madison facility operational. You'll handle scheduled maintenance work, respond to urgent repair needs, and conduct inspections to catch issues before they impact operations. Your technical skills and attention to detail ensure that building systems, production equipment, and facility infrastructure remain in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, responding to both scheduled and emergency work orders
• Conduct facility inspections and document maintenance activities for compliance and record-keeping
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Communicate maintenance status and potential issues to supervisors and relevant team members
• Assist with facility improvements and upgrades as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training, certification, or hands-on maintenance experience in a similar role
• Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical or electrical problems independently
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and work safely at heights
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance standards
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Reliable, professional work ethic and consistent attendance
