Catalent, a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products, is hiring a Quality Specialist I for our Greendale, Dearborn County facility in Indiana. This is a full-time, on-site position with an evening shift schedule (Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM).
About the Role
Our Greendale manufacturing location specializes in developing and producing gummy-based nutraceutical products with a focus on organic and vegan formulations. As a Quality Specialist I, you will support our quality assurance team in maintaining the high standards and regulatory compliance that our consumers depend on. You'll work within a modern manufacturing environment dedicated to enhancing wellness through innovative confection technology.
What You'll Do
- Perform quality audits and inspections throughout the gummy manufacturing process
- Review and verify batch documentation and manufacturing records for compliance
- Identify deviations and quality issues, documenting findings thoroughly
- Support investigation and resolution of quality concerns
- Assist with corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives
- Participate in product testing and quality control activities
- Maintain organized records and accurate audit documentation
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Availability to work Monday–Thursday evenings, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
- Commitment to 100% on-site work at our Greendale, IN facility
- Background in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a regulated industry preferred
- Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Genuine interest in learning and growing in a quality-focused manufacturing role
