About the Role
The Custodian plays a vital role in keeping Huntington Heights operating smoothly. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance across the entire property, working collaboratively with our Maintenance Supervisor to address the needs of this active residential community.
What You'll Do
- Maintain pristine conditions in common areas, hallways, lobbies, and public spaces throughout the community
- Clean and care for exterior grounds, walkways, and landscaped areas
- Manage waste removal, recycling, and trash collection throughout the property
- Perform deep cleaning, routine floor care, and surface maintenance in assigned areas
- Prepare and maintain model units and vacant apartments to showcase standards
- Remove debris and litter from grounds and parking areas
- Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow and ice removal when needed
- Support general maintenance tasks and respond to facility needs as assigned
What We're Looking For
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional committed to quality work
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on facility upkeep
- Physical capability to perform demanding custodial tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual attendance and strong work ethic
- Experience in custodial or facility maintenance roles is preferred
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving property needs
