Join CIMA+ as a System Administrator for our GitHub Platform and DevSecOps infrastructure, working remotely from our Laval, Quebec base. This full-time role offers the opportunity to architect, secure, and manage critical development infrastructure while supporting engineering teams across the organization.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled System Administrator to take ownership of our GitHub platform and DevSecOps infrastructure. In this remote position, you'll bridge development and security operations, ensuring our systems remain scalable, resilient, and secure. You'll design automated workflows, implement security controls at the source, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate safe software delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain GitHub Enterprise or cloud GitHub instances, including access controls, repository governance, and organizational policies
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure to support continuous integration and secure release processes
• Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code implementations to ensure consistency, auditability, and repeatability across environments
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot performance issues, and lead incident response coordination between development and operations teams
• Embed security practices into development workflows, working with security teams to establish controls and ensure policy compliance
• Develop automation solutions to eliminate manual, repetitive tasks and reduce operational overhead
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and operational guides for team knowledge transfer

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience administering GitHub or equivalent version control platforms at scale
• Solid foundation in DevOps or DevSecOps practices and infrastructure management
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Working knowledge of Linux administration, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and security fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and collaborative mindset
• Fluency in English; French language skills are advantageous
