CIMA+ is seeking a Systems Administrator focused on Github platform management and DevSecOps to join our team in a fully remote position based in Sherbrooke, Quebec. This full-time role offers the opportunity to design and maintain secure, scalable development infrastructure supporting our technology operations.
About the Role
As Systems Administrator for our Github platform and DevSecOps infrastructure, you'll take ownership of enterprise development tools, security practices, and operational processes. You'll work with technical teams to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient development pipelines that support our organization's growth.
Core Duties
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Github platform configurations and user access
- Design and implement security controls aligned with DevSecOps principles
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Monitor system health, performance, and security metrics
- Manage infrastructure security, access controls, and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and operational procedures
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support development teams
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to improve platform reliability and security
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience administering Github (Enterprise, Cloud, or self-hosted environments)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure development workflows
- System administration skills with Linux, Windows, or Unix systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, and scripting
- Understanding of infrastructure security, identity management, and access control
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
