Role Overview

As a Senior Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer at Renesas Electronics, you'll lead verification efforts for complex integrated circuits that combine analog and digital functionality. You'll drive the development and execution of comprehensive verification strategies, collaborate with design and systems teams, and ensure product quality and performance standards are met. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to mentor junior team members in mixed-signal verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute advanced verification plans for mixed-signal semiconductor designs
• Create testbenches, simulation environments, and verification IP for analog-digital interaction verification
• Perform circuit-level and system-level simulation and debug analysis
• Collaborate with design teams to validate specifications and identify design issues early
• Automate verification flows and build reusable verification components
• Review and validate design documentation against verification requirements
• Mentor junior verification engineers and establish best practices

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal or analog verification
• Expert-level knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL for testbench development
• Proven experience with industry-standard simulation tools and methodologies
• Strong understanding of analog circuit theory and digital design principles
• Experience with verification automation and continuous integration practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication abilities and experience collaborating across engineering teams
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
