About This Position

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Indiranagar, IN. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of advanced digital circuits and systems that power applications across consumer electronics, industrial automation, automotive, and IoT platforms. This position combines technical expertise with innovation, requiring someone who can translate complex requirements into robust, efficient designs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and simulate digital circuits and logic architectures using industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Develop hardware description language (HDL) code for field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
• Conduct functional verification, timing analysis, and performance optimization across design blocks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including verification engineers, physical design specialists, and systems architects
• Document design specifications, architecture, and verification results for internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and methodologies

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proficiency in HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog) and digital design principles
• Familiarity with logic synthesis, simulation tools, and verification methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
• Experience with FPGA design, embedded systems, or digital circuit design is highly valued
