About This Position
We're seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Team Leader to take charge of our kitchen operations in Maidstone. In this leadership role, you'll oversee day-to-day food service delivery, mentor kitchen staff, and uphold the highest standards of quality and food safety. Your Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise kitchen team members, ensuring consistent performance and continuous development
- Maintain strict food hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with industry regulations
- Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to meet Greene King's quality benchmarks
- Monitor and manage kitchen stock, ordering, and waste to optimise efficiency and costs
- Train team members on cooking techniques, food safety procedures, and company standards
- Collaborate with management to plan menus and respond constructively to customer feedback
- Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and safe throughout each service
