Join Greene King as a Part Time Chef at our Wistaston, Cheshire location. We're seeking an experienced culinary professional to deliver consistently excellent food and maintain our high standards in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Role Overview

As a Chef with Greene King, you'll play a key role in our kitchen, preparing fresh, quality meals for our guests. This part-time position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to showcase your culinary expertise and contribute to the success of our team. You'll work within our established kitchen framework, collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure every dish meets our standards and delights our customers.

Core Duties

• Prepare and cook dishes following our recipes and presentation standards
• Manage food preparation, cooking, and plating with attention to quality and consistency
• Maintain exceptional hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Work effectively as part of the kitchen team, supporting colleagues and meeting service demands
• Follow food safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and inventory control
• Adapt to changing priorities and support the broader hospitality operation

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment
• Level 1 or 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet service times
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
