Inspector

Meta is seeking an Inspector to join our accounting and auditing operations in Roanoke, VA on a contract basis. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and compliance of our financial processes.

As an Inspector in our Accounting/Auditing department, you will oversee quality assurance and compliance verification across financial operations and processes. Your work ensures that Meta's accounting systems, documentation, and procedures meet rigorous standards and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role that combines systematic review, thorough analysis, and attention to detail to protect the company's financial accuracy and integrity.

What You'll Do

• Review financial records, transactions, and documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Verify adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and applicable financial standards
• Conduct systematic inspections of financial processes and internal controls
• Document findings and prepare detailed reports on audit observations
• Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams to address identified issues
• Support continuous improvement of financial operations and control effectiveness
• Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections and compliance assessments

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Demonstrated experience in audit, compliance, or quality assurance work
