About the Role

We are looking for a conscientious and hardworking Cleaning Operative to undertake essential cleaning and maintenance duties across our Dungarvan site. As a Cleaning Operative here, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of our facility—from office spaces to shared facilities—remain clean, sanitary, and safe for staff and visitors alike. This is a full-time role based on-site at our Dungarvan location, and you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the daily experience of everyone who works at our facility.

What You'll Do

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all work areas
  • Clean, disinfect, and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, and other communal spaces to the highest hygiene standards
  • Collect, bag, and dispose of waste and recyclables in line with company and environmental protocols
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment, report faults or damage, and ensure safe storage of materials
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst using cleaning products and PPE appropriately
  • Work flexible hours as required to maintain cleaning schedules, which may include early starts
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc cleaning requests and demonstrate consistent attention to detail
  • Support the team to maintain standards that reflect Eurofins' commitment to a safe, professional workplace

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Cleaning Operative, cleaner, or in a similar domestic or facility maintenance role
  • Ability to work independently, manage your workload, and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Physical capability and fitness to perform manual cleaning duties, including lifting and carrying safely
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a professional, respectful approach to your work
  • Understanding of and willingness to comply with health and safety procedures and the safe handling of cleaning materials
