Business Development Manager – Midwest Territory

Eurofins is hiring a Business Development Manager to build client relationships and drive sales growth across the Midwest Territory, based in Chicago, IL. This full-time remote position allows you to work flexibly while expanding our presence across the region.

What This Role Involves

As Business Development Manager for the Midwest Territory, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. You'll combine strategic prospecting with consultative selling, working independently to grow revenue and market share. This role bridges sales strategy with customer success, requiring both the energy to pursue new leads and the relationship skills to become a trusted advisor to clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities across the Midwest Territory, targeting key industries and market segments
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue targets and pipeline growth objectives
• Prepare and deliver customized product presentations and solution proposals to prospective clients
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients in the Chicago area and beyond
• Manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate forecasts, and report progress to management
• Collaborate with internal operations, quality assurance, and customer service teams to support client onboarding and satisfaction
• Represent Eurofins at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build market visibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas and building new client pipelines
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with proven persuasion skills
• Self-motivated and results-focused with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tracking tools
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Sales, or related discipline preferred
• Prior experience in laboratory services, testing, or scientific industries is valued
