Dock Worker – onsite Madison, WI.

Eurofins is looking for a part-time Dock Worker to support our testing and laboratory operations at our Madison, Wisconsin facility. This on-site role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring samples, equipment, and supplies move efficiently through our warehouse and laboratory spaces.

Position Summary

As a Dock Worker at our Madison, WI location, you'll be the backbone of our receiving and shipping operations. You'll manage incoming materials and outgoing test samples with precision and care, maintaining the smooth flow of equipment and supplies that our laboratory teams depend on. This part-time position offers hands-on work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment where attention to detail matters.

Core Duties

• Receive, inspect, and log incoming samples, materials, and laboratory equipment
• Organize and store items in designated warehouse areas, following inventory systems and safety protocols
• Prepare samples and equipment for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• Maintain dock area cleanliness and organization for safe, efficient operations
• Load and unload delivery trucks with accuracy and efficiency
• Verify shipment paperwork and ensure compliance with shipping requirements

What We're Looking For

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical material handling tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in logging and inventory management
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, particularly important in a warehouse environment
• Ability to work safely and follow established protocols and procedures
• Basic computer skills for logging inventory and documentation
• Physical capability to work in a warehouse setting with temperature-controlled laboratory areas
