About This Position

As a Laboratory Metrology Technician on the second shift, you'll be responsible for precision measurement operations in Eurofins' Lenexa laboratory. In this role, you'll operate and maintain advanced metrology instruments, conduct dimensional analysis, and ensure that all measurements meet strict quality and accuracy standards. Your work will directly support our testing and laboratory operations, contributing to the reliability of results that our clients depend on.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Operate precision metrology instruments and calibration equipment according to laboratory standards
• Conduct accurate measurements and dimensional analysis of samples and components
• Record and verify measurement data with precision and attention to detail
• Calibrate instruments and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment
• Compare measurements against technical specifications and quality requirements
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality procedures
• Document results and identify any measurement discrepancies or equipment issues
• Support laboratory team operations and collaborate on testing initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Hands-on experience operating precision measurement and laboratory instruments
• Working knowledge of metrology, tolerances, and dimensional analysis
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work reliably on second shift
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and laboratory data recording
• Commitment to safety and adherence to quality standards
