About the Role

As a Finastra – Fusion Trade innovation Application Developer, you will be instrumental in building and extending the capabilities of Finastra Fusion Trade, a cornerstone platform trusted by financial institutions worldwide. You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on delivering innovative solutions that empower traders and optimise operations across multiple asset classes. Your contributions will directly shape how financial organisations leverage technology to manage trading operations and drive business results.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and modules within the Finastra Fusion Trade environment
• Customise and extend Finastra Fusion Trade functionality to address client requirements and strategic business objectives
• Build and integrate APIs to connect Finastra Fusion Trade with internal systems and external platforms
• Write clean, maintainable code adhering to industry standards and established coding conventions
• Execute the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Partner with business analysts, product managers, and fellow developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve application defects and performance constraints
• Engage in peer code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Who We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience developing applications using Java or related object-oriented programming languages
