JYSK is hiring a Sales Associate (Eladó) to join our team in Veresegyász, Hungary. In this full-time on-site role, you will drive customer engagement and sales performance whilst delivering exceptional service across our furniture and home furnishings showroom.

Position Summary

As a Sales Associate at JYSK in Veresegyász, you will be the face of our brand, helping customers discover and select the right home furnishings and décor for their needs. This is your opportunity to showcase product knowledge, build customer relationships, and contribute directly to store sales targets. The role combines customer-facing engagement with point-of-sale expertise and a genuine passion for helping people create comfortable homes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening
• Present JYSK products and recommend solutions based on customer requirements and budget
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming showroom environment
• Handle customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and delivery options
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and weekly sales objectives
• Ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished as needed

Qualifications

• Proven retail or customer service experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse customers
• Enthusiasm for home furnishings and interior design (or willingness to learn)
• Numerical skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent customer service
• Fluent Hungarian and English language skills
