Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery Recovery

Tenet Healthcare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Surgery Recovery team in Golf, Palm Beach County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional, safe, and cost-effective nursing care during the critical recovery phase following surgical procedures.

About the Role

As an RN in our Outpatient Surgery Recovery unit, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patients wake safely and comfortably from anesthesia, bridging the gap between the operating room and discharge. Working days, you'll coordinate comprehensive care for each patient, applying the nursing process to meet individual recovery needs while maintaining strict safety protocols and quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Monitor vital signs and assess post-operative patients as they recover from anesthesia
• Manage patient comfort through pain management and supportive nursing interventions
• Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia staff to ensure seamless care transitions
• Document patient status, progress, and discharge readiness accurately and thoroughly
• Uphold infection control practices, safety protocols, and quality improvement standards
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and follow-up instructions
• Support a patient-centered environment focused on positive clinical outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Clinical experience in post-operative, recovery, or acute care settings
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
• Knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and vital sign monitoring
• Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and evidence-based practice
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
