Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU

Tenet Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit in Surprise, Maricopa County. If you're an experienced RN ready to deliver direct patient care and lead a nursing team in a dynamic hospital setting, we want to meet you.

The Opportunity

As a full-time Registered Nurse in our PCU, you'll assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and delegate tasks to nursing staff under your supervision. You'll work collaboratively with physicians and specialists to coordinate complex patient care, using clinical judgment and the nursing process to guide every decision. Your expertise, communication, and commitment to patient safety will directly improve outcomes for the patients in your care.

Core Duties

• Provide direct bedside nursing care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans with the healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately and maintain complete clinical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing support staff, providing guidance and feedback
• Maintain a safe, hygienic patient environment and follow infection control standards
• Educate patients and support their dignity and comfort during hospitalization

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, complex healthcare environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Dedication to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
