Registered Nurse Med-Surg. FT Nights

Tenet Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical-Surgical nursing in Timpson, Shelby County. This full-time, nights position offers an opportunity to deliver direct patient care and lead a nursing team in a hospital setting dedicated to quality outcomes and patient safety.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical-Surgical unit, you'll manage the care of patients recovering from surgery or managing complex medical conditions. Working nights, you'll lead care delivery on your assigned unit, coordinate with your nursing team, and ensure each patient receives evidence-based, compassionate care throughout your shift.

What You'll Do

• Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions to support recovery
• Perform clinical procedures, administer medications, and monitor vital signs and patient responses
• Communicate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff and support team members, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring quality standards
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
• Advocate for patient safety and contribute to a culture of quality improvement on your unit

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or related acute care setting
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work nights and manage multiple patients independently
• Team leadership capability and commitment to patient-centered care
• CPR certification and willingness to maintain certifications as required
